Worship and Picnic on August 20

This Sunday, we will enjoy our second all-church outdoor service and picnic of the summer, starting at 11:15.  And once again, it will be at the Orenco Woods Nature Park in Hillsboro. 

It will be a BYOL (bring your own lunch) affair, but our Hospitality Ministry team will provide water and frozen treats!  There is some cover and picnic bench seating, but you might want to make sure you bring the following:

• Lawn chairs

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses

• Blanket (in case you want to lay out in the sun, making item two very important!)

CG Huddle on August 6

Our beautiful congregation will gather for a time of praise, vision casting, and fellowship at our CG Huddle: 5:30 - 7:00 pm in the Student Building. Previously, this event was known as the "annual church meeting."

Our intent is to spend an interactive event with ministry leaders and congregants. We will share praises (and a few challenges) about our respective ministry areas as well as prayer requests and dreams for the upcoming year. A light meal will be served. You and your family are cordially invited to be our guests!

WHERE: Calvary Parkside Student Building (through the lobby doors into the outdoor courtyard behind the Welcome Desk)

Barnfest 2022

The Robnett's are once again opening their home for the Common Ground Barnfest. Thank you Tim & Sharon!

If you've never been, this is one of the church highlights of the year and the kids always have a great time checking out the horses! It is an amazing time of food and fellowship! This is also the perfect opportunity to invite family or friends to come, join in the fun and check us out!

This will be a community meal with a little friendly Chili Cookoff Competition at the center of it all!!
You can sign up to bring your favorite chili, cornbread or dessert. Or all three! We never say no to good food. If you'd like to bring something, contact Heidi Nishida (dhnishid@msn.com) to sign up. And if you can't bring anything, just bring yourself!
