Adopt A Roadway Event on July 27

Common Ground is teaming up with our campus neighbors an·them church and Parkside Fellowship for a community service project

On July 27 we'll be cleaning up Erickson Avenue as part of Beaverton's Adopt-A-Roadway program. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with our faith neighbors and get some exercise.  It is also a great example of the D.R.E.A.M. initiative--Engaging Our Community.

We'll follow that with a church picnic at the park next door.  BECAUSE we'll be having this picnic, there will not be a Church Potluck on the first Sunday of July

Here's what you need to know:

Litter Removal on Saturday, July 27:  10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Church Picnic at Evelyn Schiffler Park Shelter A on Saturday, July 27:  12:00 - 2:00 pm

Easter Sunday 2019

One of the greatest invitations ever extended came from a Galilean carpenter's son. Few people paid attention to His invitation because it did not seem to make sense at the time. Yet today, people all over the world are considering how His invitation might change their lives: "Come to me, all who are tired and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Common Ground will also consider this invitation when we celebrate Easter Sunday on April 21 at 3:00 pm. The gathering will feature community singing and music, special music, a message, and refreshments. Won't you join us? And please consider inviting a friend.

Be in prayer for how God will ignite Christ's invitation of rest inside our hearts!
