HELP PACK CARE PACKAGES FOR HOMELESS TEENAGERS

HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY OF BEAVERTON:
Your help is needed in supporting the homeless students at Beaverton High School.
During Spring Break many of these students won't have access to food
and other resources while the schools are closed for vacation.

Volunteers are needed to help pack over 700 care packages THIS MONDAY MORNING, March 19th from 9:00 am until about noon.  These care packages are being put together by the Community Partnership Committee (CPC), a consortium of Beaverton churches providing help for homeless students at BHS.  The packing will be done at Bethel Congregational United Church of Christ (5140 SW Watson).  In addition to food, the packages will include toiletries and other necessities to help tide the students over during Spring Break. All items have been donated by the Oregon Food Bank, local grocers and participating churches.

All we need now is YOU to help put together hundreds of care packages.  If you are able to help, show up at Bethel Monday morning March 19th at 9am. If you have any questions, call us at 971.205.2427.

Thanks for your help and prayers for this service project.
